Happy Crappy Monday Morning……Volume 15.0

Happy Crappy Monday Morning……Volume 15.0
By: J-Shannon
First, let me start this article off with a special request for all of the Bro Nameth Supporters. Please be respectful, and have your own personal moment of silence, being that the football season has come to an end, and we will have to wait until September for the next kickoff…………….. Now that we have that out of the way, it is time for a solid does of the Happy Crappy Monday Morning. Enjoy everyone…..

1. Super Bowl Sunday RECAP….
What a game. The NFL yet again builds this game up to the highest of mountains, and it again lives up to the hype. Yes, the Super Bowl was as competitive as it gets. Drenched in storylines, the Super Bowl had everything from the underdog injury stricken team, to the controversial Quarterback who missed the first four games of the season because of an accused sexual assault charge. In the end, the Packer’s bring the Lombardi Trophy back home where it belongs. I have to give a lot of credit to the Pack, they fought through having 15 key players on the IR list all season, and lost their starting WR and Defensive leader during the game……
2. Christina Aguilerra…
OK. You’re a 5 time Grammy award winner, your singing the National Anthem in the freaking SUPER BOWL, and you forget the words? I spit out half my ‘Merican when I heard it. Not only that but you probably cost folks upwards of a few million who had the Anthem to go over 1:54 seconds. You missed an entire line of the song!! I thought you were a genie in a bottle? One of my wishes would be for you to know the words.
3. Aaron Rodgers…
How good is this guy? He threw for over 300 yards and had AT LEAST 4 huge drops. He hit James Jones in stride for what probably would have been a long td pass but Jones dropped it. He hit Jordy Nelson twice in the chest, both were dropped. He hit Swain in the chest…dropped. The dude was on point for all but maybe 2 throws. He has an absolute CANNON for an arm. It looks effortless YET the ball explodes off his hand. Not bad for a guy who didn’t get one DIVISION 1 scholarship offer huh? If you don’t know the story of Rodgers you should read it. He went JUCO because his best offer was to be a walk on at Illinois. While at Junior College, Jeff Tedford was at a game recruiting a TE and thought Rodgers was pretty good. Worked out pretty well for both Tedford and Rodgers.

4. Oh you HAVE a Ticket to the Super Bowl, Tough Shit……
So picture this: Your favorite NFL team makes the Super Bowl. You then decided to spend the money that is needed to go see your team hopefully bring home the hardware: Plane tickets, food, hotel, and game tickets. Now Super Bowl tickets aren’t cheap at all. At minimum, you have to pay a couple of grand each. How would you react if you tailgated all pregame, were stoked for kickoff, walked up to the gate, and the ticket taker told you your tickets were now invalid? Well, that is exactly what happened to just about 1000 Super Bowl ticket holders. It turns out, the Fire Marshall in Dallas decided that just about 1000 temporary seats in Dallas were fire hazards, and as a result, were not allowed to be used during the game. Now is it just me, or did the NFL and the Cowboys drop the ball on this? Wouldn’t you think they would have the seats checked out by the Fire Marshall before they decided to sell them to the public? I’ll just put it this way, if I bought these tickets, I can promise you the NFL would be hearing from me or my lawyers……
5. HALFTIME “Show”
I applaud the NFL for having a relevant band do the show. I also address one of the singers a little later but for the most part the show was awful. Usher coming down was about as cool as a socks and sandals combo. He danced around for a minute and sang a few words. I will say this is an upgrade over the last few years but all in all was still pretty lame. Someone might have wanted to tell Fergie she wasn’t singing loud enough. Oh Wait never mind she was screaming the whole time.
6.  Photo of the Week:
This pretty much sums up the night, Congrats Packers……

7. Kim Kardashian = False Advertisement…….
Kim Kardashian….. Damn. In what was an overall disappointing night for commercials, Kim looked amazing as usual in her workout gear. But really, Sketchers? Sketchers is going to try and take credit for the sculpting of that masterpiece of an ass? I’m not saying that Sketchers Step-Up shoes don’t tone your body at all, I’m just saying the only time Kim Kardashian put on Sketchers was for that commercial……

8. Here it is, my favorite Super Bowl Commercial of the night…..

9.“One-Liners” of the Week…..
·         Ke$ha tweeted “Butt Cleavage is the new black”. Thank you Ke$ha, you continue to leave your stamp on the world.
·         Bon Jovi reportedly in talks to buy 15% of the Falcons for 150 million.

·          If you haven’t seen this yet Blake Griffin is asking for dunk ideas (http://www.youtube.com/espn). I have an idea for him but I am white and cant jump. I will see if I can send him a video.

10. THE TOP 10 in the TOP 10….
THE TOP 10 Things I think that need to be pointed out after a solid Super Bowl……
1.       Aaron Rodgers- The man is a star. He is worth mentioning again because he is that good. If I had to pick a quarterback to start a team around in the league, Rodgers would only be behind Tom Brady in my book. The guy threw for over 300 yards in the Super Bowl, and actually should have thrown for more than that, but his receivers couldn’t hold on to the ball…….

2.       Fergie=Bad- So I applaud the NFL for finally giving a halftime show to an artist or group that has been relevant in the past 20 years. The special effects were good, the light show was pretty impressive, and the special guests during the performance were legit. All I’m going to say it is a good thing Fergie is hot, because she sounded terrible…..

3.       Never Give Up- I’ll tell you like this, the Packers won the game with the same attitude and determination they have played with all year. The entire season they have had to fight through injuries. They ended the season with 15 players on IR, including the Pro Bowl RB and TE. In the first quarter of Last night’s Super Bowl, they also lost their Defensive leader, and their #1 WR. It didn’t matter. The Packers would put in back up players, and keep rolling with the same precision they played with all season…..

4.       Commercials- They sucked ass this season, enough said…..

5.       Football is over- Don’t get me wrong March Madness is coming but their nothing like popping ‘Mericans and yelling because some 19 year old kid can’t catch. Absolutely nothing beats football! And now it’s over.

6.        Battle of the Hair- Troy Polamalu was basically nonexistent and Clay Matthews made the big hit that swing the momentum back onto the side of Green Bay. At that point of the game the Steelers had all the momentum but here comes Pantene Pro V to deliver a big blow jarring the ball loose.

7.       Feeling better about the Falcons loss- I normally don’t do this but it does make me feel better that the team that knocked us out of the playoffs ended up winning it all. The Falcons are close, but need a playmaker or 2 on defense.

8.       NFL Draft- Before you know it the combine will be here and roughly 45k mock drafts will be available online. The poking and prodding NFL teams do is absurd. I heard a story that supposedly one of the deciding factors on the Colts selecting Peyton manning over Ryan leaf was their response to a question they were asked. They were asked what they would do with their signing bonus check. Peyton said he was going to put it in the bank and start to learn the playbook right away. Leaf said he was going to take his boys for a Vegas trip. Now, I know this sounds crazy to make a decision based on that answer and I am sure other factors came into play (obviously) but looking back now you can understand why they asked that.

9.       Brett Favre- This offseason should be a lot less “Diva” like since dong gate already filed his papers. Oh and Jen Sterger is going to be in PLAYBOY this month.

10.   Did I mention Jenn Sterger is going to be in PLAYBOY this month?

As always, it has been a pleasure. Leave me your thoughts and comments on the facebook post…. See you all Friday morning Suckazzzzzz.

Friday Free For All…..Volume 13.0

Friday Free For All…..Volume 13.0
By: J-Shannon
It’s Friday, and it is Super Bowl weekend! Are you excited, can you feel it deep down in the pit of your stomach? I’m already looking forward to Sunday. I know I’m looking forward to Sunday. There will be plenty of Good Ol Fashioned American Brew HAHA on ice, Chips and Dip, and chicken wings. I’m taking the Steelers, strictly because they have been there A LOT, and know how to handle the pressure. But to hold you over until Sunday, here is a fresh edition of the Friday Free for All…..
--The “I THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW” Stories from this Week:
1.    High School Recruits signed on the dotted lines….
Some of you Bro Nameth supporters may be sports fans, but if you aren’t a college football junkie like I am, allow me to catch you up on what went down on National Signing Day. It looks like the Seminoles are on their way back to domination. Florida State has a small signing class (13) but a star studded class. The biggest shockers to me for the Day were the Clemson Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs. Clemson is losing Da’Quan Bowers on defense, but they certainly are reloading. Clemson brought in the #1 ILB in the country, Tony Steward, and #2 OLB in the country, Stephone Anthony. Also added were two 5 star players on offense, RB Mike Bellamy, and WR Sammy Watkins. Keep in mind the #1 overall player in the country Jadeveon Clowney still has Clemson on his short list of 3.
Mark Richt may not have had the year on the field that he was hoping for, but he has worked his ass off in the offseason. Richt has also brought in a star studded class for the Bulldogs. Georgia struck recruiting gold, landing 5 Star RB Isaiah Crowell, and 5 Star DE Ray Drew. I got to give the Bulldogs some credit, and I’m a little nervous to see how the Bulldogs will develop over the next couple of seasons. I will say this, if Richt doesn’t produce immediately after the class he just recruited, he will get sent packing…..
Here is how I ranked the Recruiting Classes:
1.     Florida State
2.     Alabama
3.     Texas
4.     Georgia
5.     LSU
6.     USC
7.     Clemson
8.     Oregon
9.     Ohio State
Keep in Mind, IF, and that’s a big IF, Clowney signs with Clemson, I will move them up to the number 4 class in the country.
--Things that Have Pissed Me off This Week:
1.     People who are pissed that Ben Roethlisberger had a few Beers…….
So Big Ben flew into Dallas Tuesday to prepare for the ‘Ship. It turns out Wednesday night he took a couple of his linemen out to a piano bar, and ran up a tab of drinks to the tune of $800. Some people are pissed that he went out and had drinks during the week he is preparing for the big game. I’ll just say it like this, the man is an adult. He old enough to make his own decisions, go where he wants, drink what he wants, stay out as late as he wants. I think if Head Coach Mike Tomlin was really concerned about his QB at night, he would put a curfew on the guy.
I think it needs to be pointed out that Peter King, who is the best NFL writer in the business, was at Steelers practice today. King tweeted after practice that Big Ben is “scalding hot”, and he “looked terrific.” King also pointed out that at one point, Ben threw 4 touchdowns in a row in the Red Zone.
I don’t think Coach Tomlin is worried at all about what his QB is doing at night…..
2. Gabe Wright, Who the Hell do you think you are??
So Auburn has yet again another solid recruiting class. This year they landed 4 Star recruit Gabe Wright. Gabe makes his announcement on national television, and throws on a “customized” Auburn hat. Gabe’s hat reads Nick Who? This is a reference to the future Number 1 pick Nick Fairley, who plays the same position as incoming Wright. Now Gabe may be a good player, and yea he is a 4 star recruit, but who the hell does this guy think he is? So you have the POTENTIAL to be a good player. As of right now, you couldn’t hold Fairley’s Jock. Fairley wasn’t a 4 star recruit. He was actually a 2 star, who went to JUCO, and worked his way up to start for Auburn. The guy worked his ass off to get to where he is today. Before you start getting cocky, how about step foot on a college campus and actually do something. Your explanation was shitty too, it made about as much sense as a virgin porn star…….

Here is the clip of the Doucher himself…..
--Youtube Clips of the Week:
I’m going to be honest, I thought Lil Weezy was a Saints fan from New Orleans, but he kills it here for Green Bay. Take a good listen, and listen to the lyrics…..

This one is dedicated to all of us white boys who always wanted to dunk but know there isn’t a chance in hell of it actually happening….. Shout out to Tom Pritchard of Indiana for proving some white boys can jump….

This is your lucky day as we got videos all over the place...Shoutout to Bro Zimmerman for this vid...

This last clip has got to be the fastest goalie in the history of soccer. This dude might be able to give Usain Bolt a "run" for his money...It looks fake but is 100% real. This is easily the fastest white dude alive...Shoutout to Bro Switzer for the vid....

-The “LIVIN’ THE DREAM” Legend of the Week:
This week’s Livin’ the Dream legend is none other than Bro Paterno. The guy has the life right now. He is the Head football coach for Penn State. But he is at the point in his career where his coordinators do all the work, and he just sits back and watches the action. Bro Paterno is livin’ the dream……
--Shout-Outs for the Week:

        *   Schmee- It wasn't too long ago your ambitions were to be a pirate. You have turned in your
eye patch for a family. Wanted to give you a shoutout on your Birthday. HAPPY BDAY!
*    Matt Watts- I would almost rather get herpes than have to admit he is right, but he did call me out on a name I left off of Monday’s NFL Underrated List. Jon Kitna did step in for Tony Bromo, and did a solid job. The guy never gets any love.
*    Cleveland Cavaliers- You still suck ass, 23 in a row, not too shabby….
*    Andy Pettitte- Congrats on a solid career, even though you were caught juicing. At least you admitted you juiced like a man, and moved on…..
*    J’Woww- She was slammin in her leather outfit last night……
*    Extra Mustard- If you haven’t clicked on extra mustard on cnnsi.com, you are missing out. Does anyone know what the G on the Green Bay Packers Helmet Stands for?? No it’s not Green Bay, Click here for the Answer….
*     Coach Mike Smith- He got his new extension, well deserved….
*     The Newest Bro Nameth Supporters…..  Eddie Carta, Wifey Crooks, Uncle Bro Tomassi, and Jeff Fetters…..

One last sports worthy note. We have run across this facebook page that is spreading the word on steroid use. You should take a look and help spread the word. Hey sports fans, do you play steroid-free?

As always, it’s been a pleasure. Leave a comment if you disagree with anything I got to say, and I’ll prove to you why you are wrong….. Check in again Monday Suckazzzzz.

Now, the point system is going to be altered as the Super Bowl is the biggest game in all of football. There is another contest we are throwing for prop bets. The winner of that contest will also win a Bro Nameth T ($10 value!) and you can enter by clicking here. It doesnt take a genious to see that I am pretty bad at this but I plan on having a HUGE super bowl and thus, keeping my own Shirt. Here we go:

Super Bowl Picks: Line Taken from USA Today

For these picks you get 6 Points. You MUST place at least 1 point on both choices. You may put points on a parlay of the two for +300 odds. Ex. 2 Points on GB -2.5, 2 points on the over and 2 points on a parlay of the 2. If GB wins by 3 and the score is 45 or higher you would win 10 points. You do not have to parlay if you do not want to but you MUST place at least 1 point on both the spread and the total. You can choose to not allocate all 6 points but that would just be dumb.

6 Points: Use them Wisely (Allocate however you would like)

GB (-2.5) vs. Pitssburgh......Pittsburgh +2.5 (4 Points)
Over/Under 44.5......Over 44.5 (1 Point)                   Parlay of the 2 (1 Point)

1 Point Each:

Coin toss is heads or tails?      HEADS
First score by Pittsburgh or GB?      PITTSBURGH
First play of the game is a run or pass?      PASS
Will there be a FG made over 43 yards?      YES
Aaron Rodgers will throw over 1.5 TD's?      NO

BONUS POINTS: ONLY IF YOU GET THEM RIGHT (2 Points Each)

MVP: Big Ben
Most Tackles (Both Teams): Charles Woodson

Happy Crappy Monday......Volume 13.0

Happy Crappy Monday Morning……Volume 13.0
By: J-Shannon
It is Monday Boys and Girls, and you all know what that means. It’s time for a solid edition of the Happy Crappy Monday. This week’s topics will cover the ManChild of a Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, as well as the world largest Vagina, Jay Cutler. Also included will be a little recruiting news, my Top 10 Pre-Season College Football Rankings, and a little more stuff that should make your day a little better. So sit back and relax, and enjoy this edition of the Happy Crappy Monday Morning.

1.       Packers still Rolling along…..
Wow. Aaron Rodgers is the real deal. I picked from the start that the Packers would handle the Falcons, and would be the scariest team in the playoffs. The Defense is stellar, and the only thing they were lacking during the season was a solid running game on the offense side of the ball. It looks like they figured out what is going on with the run game. Think back to about 4 years ago, when the Packers told an aging Brett Favre that they were making the move to the younger, more in shape Aaron Rodgers. Some Packers fans were disappointed. I don’t hear any of those same fans complaining these days.  Aaron Rodgers defined what type of player he is when Bears DE Julius Peppers almost took his head off in the third quarter. If you paid attention, Rodgers got back up, spit out a mouthful of blood, and continued to orchestrate a perfect game. The Packers look to be a team to be reckoned with over the next 5-7 years. If you were to add to their lineup another solid, young running back, with maybe a third or fourth round wide receiver pick, this team will be loaded.
2.       It May not be Pretty, but Big Ben does 1 Thing: WIN…..
Well, he doesn’t throw 400 yards a game. He doesn’t throw for 4 touchdowns. But you know what he does do? He wins. And he wins often. Big Ben is 10-2 in the playoffs in his career; that is second best all time among Quarterbacks who have played in more than 10 playoff games. He is a large man, and has the ability to shrug off defensive players. The best thing he does is continue to make big plays, when it counts. Big Ben has the ability to roll out of the pocket, and keep the play going when nothing is open in the beginning. This is when he does his damage. The bad part about it, there is no defense for a QB who continues to drag out the play until someone gets open. Yea he made some mistakes in the beginning of the season, but you haven’t really heard anything about that lately have you?
3.        No American’s left in Australia
So I know I don’t watch as much Tennis as most people, but can we not get an American to step up and do some work in the Tennis game. The Australian Open is going on, but it looks like every American has already booked their flights home, being that none are left in the event. What is the deal USA…. Step your game up.
4.       Mark Sanchez: Wiping Boogers on Teammates……
You know, it is bad enough being Mark Brunell. The guy is 40 years old, been in the league for 20 years, and still somehow is bankrupt. Not only that, but you have to ride the pine pony while a young Mark Sanchez has been anointed the chosen one for the Jets. But to make matters even worse, Sanchez treats Brunell like the bottom of a cafeteria table. Check out what he does to old Brunell during Sunday’s game…..

5.       Brooklyn Decker= Enough Said
I hated on you for already losing the Australian Open, but you did win the ultimate prize. Here is the woman married to Andy Roddick…..You know what? Shes so hot it wont let me upload her photo so give her the ole google.

6.       A little Jay Cutler Bashing for the Bro Nameth Followers…..
It looks like I wasn’t the only one who thought Jay Cutler played like a Puss this weekend. After his “Severe” knee injury, you know the one that allowed him to walk all around the sidelines during the second half of the game, many present and former NFL players used Twitter to express their feelings on Cutler. Thanks to Extra Mustard for these Tweets.
Bucs Linebacker Derrick Brooks: Hey, There is no medicine for a guy with no guts and heart
Maurice Jones Drew: Hey, I think the Urban Meyer Rule is in effect right now…When the going gets tough, QUIT.
Cardinals Safety Kerry Rhodes: Cmon Cutler you have to come back. This is the NFC Championship if you didn’t know.
Primetime Deion Sanders: Folks I never question a players injury, but I do question a players heart. TRUTH
Mark Schlereth: As a guy who has had over 20 knee surgeries, you’d have to drag me out on a stretcher to leave a championship game.

7.       A little Too Much….
Yea, I would be extremely happy to be going to the Super Bowl too. But Rashad Mendenhall may have taken his celebration a little too far…..

8.       More Jay Cutler Bashing:
Did you know one of the Executive Producers of the Vagina Monologues is Jay Cutler? Cutler signed a 2 year $5,000,000 contract with Vagisil this past offseason. His favorite movie on his bio page is Too Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar.

9.       “Deuces” of the week…….
You know how the “Deuces” works, so here they are……
·         Carson Palmer- Carson wants a trade. He says he is fed up with the Bengals. Carson, you had Ochocinco and TO last season on your squad, along with Cedric Benson. I don’t think anyone is going to be upset you’re leaving…..

·         New York Jets-  Back to your Foot Fetish Rexy, your season is history.

·         Chicago Bears- Sorry Bears. Maybe you’ll have a better backup quarterback plan next season than Todd Collins.

·         Jack LaLanne- The original workout Guru, passed away at 92.

10.   THE TOP 10 in the TOP 10….
Yea it is early, but it is never too early to look ahead at my preseason projected top 10 for next season….. Here it is.
10. OKLAHOMA STATE COWBOYS- They have a good squad, but did lose their offensive   Coordinator to West Virginia. If they can overcome the loss, they will have a good season.
9.    MICHIGAN STATE SPARTANS-The Spartans are still a little pissed they won a piece of the Big Ten, and sat at home during BCS games and watched other teams play. Look for this chip on their shoulder to lead them to a BCS game this year.
8.    WISCONSIN BADGERS- They play smash mouth football. They run the ball, and run the ball well. Wisconsin should have a hell of a run in 2011.
7.    TEXAS A&M AGGIES- It’s nice to have Coach Mike Sherman. It is also nice to return almost every starter from an already good team. Texas A&M is letting people know there is another team in Texas other than the Longhorns.
6.    FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES- Replacing Christian Ponder is first priority, but the Seminoles always have talent down in Florida. Look for them to repeat winning their division in the ACC
5.    STANFORD CARDINAL- They lost their coach to the NFL, but their guaranteed Number 1 Draft pick of a QB decided he wanted to enjoy college a little more. Look for Andrew Luck to lead Stanford far this season.
4.    LSU TIGERS- Les Miles is back. Their Defense is nasty. This team is loaded with talent, and play with a swagger.
3.    OREGON DUCKS- The core of their national championship team is back. QB Darron Thomas is back, along with Heisman finalist LaMichael James. Add in the fact that they play in the Pac 10, there is a good chance they are back in the National Championship.
2.    ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE- Recruits, Recruits, Recruits. They are loaded. Trent Richardson is going to step up, and take the starting Running back title. Watch out for Bama this season.
1.       OKLAHOMA SOONERS- Almost all starters back, including starting QB Landry Jones and Receiver Ryan Broyles. It will hurt to lose Demarco Murray, but they are loaded with talent.

Honorable Mentions: Be on the lookout for: South Carolina, Boise State, TCU, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Arkansas…..
As always, it has been a pleasure. Leave me your thoughts and comments on the facebook post…. See you all Friday morning Suckazzzzzz.

What the Hell Happened? My Free Agency and Draft Wish List

This last Saturday was one of the worst Atlanta Sports moments I have had in a long time.

Watching the Packers move the ball up and down the field with such ease was like getting kicked in the nutz over and over again and not being able to stop it. Aaron Rodgers would have scored 48 points even if we had 15 guys on defense. It is amazing to me that a team who had played so well, was coming off a bye, playing at HOME and seemed to have some momentum could come out at and be so bad. Not only did it seem like we made no adjustments on defense, but anytime we were in position to make a play we failed.

After the Eric Weems kick off return it was big for our defense to come out and get a stop to sustain the momentum gained from that return. The drive started off great for us as Starks fumbled the kickoff out of bounds at around the 8 yard line. Green Bay ends up marching the ball right down the field with ease to tie the score at 14. With the lack of defense we have now shown for most of the game, ALL of the pressure is now on the offense to move the ball and get some points. We don't and out comes the juggernaut that is the Packer offense. They once again mow through the Falcon D like The Situation mows through women as he beats the beat on Jersey Shore. 21-14 Packers.

At this point is is almost imperitive we score before the half ends since GB gets the ball the start the second half. The falcons are on about the 35 yard line with 8 seconds left and no timeouts since we just called 1. Now, as a defensive player I know the falcons have really 2 options.
  1. A quick out to gain 5-7 yards to make a shorter FG attempt
  2. A bomb to the end zone and if incomplete hopefully a second left for the long FG
The Falcons called timeout so I am going to assume that the playcall came from Mularkey. Tramond Williams, who lets just say probobly is a little smarter than I, knows the above 2 points. So what do the Falcons do? They roll Ryan out to cut the field down by 70% and give him 1 option to throw to. Which he does and boom...pick 6 game over! I am not giving Ryan a free pass for the throw because the throw is just plain awful and you absolutely NEVER make that throw. However, the playcall deserves some criticism as well. To be honest it really wouldn't have mattered either way because the Packers would have scored 60 points if they had to.

The Falcons played their worst game they have played all year and got wooped. Stepping back now we just ran into a buzzsaw in Green Bay and couple that with the worst game we have played all year and thats a recipe for disaster. There are times in professionjal sports where you just dont "have it". The Jets 3 weeks ago got beat by 42 at New England! Then they come back and beat the Patriots convinceingly last week. Its just how it goes sometimes.

I started thinking to myself how I always talk about the Atlanta Braves being a failure since the goal is to win the World Series every year NOT just make the playoffs. While this is 100% true for them, it isn't for the Falcons. This season WAS a success since we won the division and lets be honest the Falcons have never had 3 years runnning like they have the last 3. Now if the same thing happens next year then absolutely the season is an epic fail. In a way you know you have arrived when you lose in the first round and everyone is pissed off and mad.

I think as a whole the team is very well built. You have very good if not elite players at every level on the team. I think we need another explosive playmaker on offense and we need to add a player at every level on defense.

Free Agency (this is a WISH list)

I know that the odds we get these guys are small but I am still believe we could land a big FA and a few smaller ones that could really improve the team.

Mercedes Lewis (Tight End): Don't get me wrong I love Tony Gonzalez but the guy is getting up their in age and Lewis is a baller. We could lock him up for a 4-5 year deal and have a core of White, Ryan, Turner and Lewis and be set for the next 4-5. I really think this is a guy we could get.

Vincent Jackson (WR): VJax is a beast and is Michael Jenkins but with more speed and can catch. He is going to get paid by somebody and since we reupped Jenkins this prob wont happen but would be nice.

Champ Bailey (DB): Champ is a little older but still runs well and while he is not the "shutdown" corner he used to be he would still be the best corner on the team. I think we could get for 6-7 million a year and that would move Dunta off of the #1 and onto the #2 receiver where he could be more effective. Bailey has great man to man skills and I think this is  a signing that could really help us.

Ray Edwards (DE): I think the biggest help the defense could get would be on the defensive line especially in the pass rush. Abraham can only do so much himself and if you stuck someone like Edwards opposite him that could be a deadly pass rush. What is a similar trait for all the remaining teams in the playoffs? They have a great pass rush whether its through the front 4 or mixing up their looks with their front 4.

There are some lower end Free Agents that I would like as well but a few of them I KNOW the Falcons would never sign because its not "the falcon way". Adding someone like Randy Moss or Terrell Owens would be great for our offense IMO but I know because of the baggage they bring their is no chance that would happen. Randy Moss opposite Roddy White coupled with the running game of Michael Turner would be ridiculous. He would have 4-5 1 on 1 chances a game where we could potentially hit a HUGE play.

Draft Wish List

Allen Bailey (DE/LB) Miami: I have done a lot of research regarding the draft and have easily read 20-30 Mock Drafts. Most of them have the Falcons taking an offensive lineman since we have a few FA's on the O Line. Bailey is a physical freak who can play the OLB spot or rush the passer from the end. Abraham is 32 and depending on what we do in Free Agency we have got to get younger on the ends. Biermann is what he is. A decent pass rusher but I think Bailey could be a great pick here.

Cameron Heyward (DE) Ohio State: See the above post. Heyward is a freak as well and I think would step right in and start. His dad, the late great Craig "Ironhead" Heyward played for Atlanta.

Titus Young (WR) Boise State: I know I always knock on Boise State but Titus Young is a player. Hes fast as hell and could really help the Falcons stretch the field. I am thinking we could get him with our late 2nd round pick or even with our 3rd.

Demarco Murray (RB) Oklahoma: I know RB is really low on our list but Murray is just too explosive to pass up. A lot of Mock Drafts have him dropping into the 3rd round and if so I think this would be a steal. Hes a homerun threat whether running it or catching it out of the backfield. People need to go ahead and get jerious Norwood out of their heads because hes a walking body cast every year. Murray has had some knick knack injuries while at OK but I think this could be a great pick if we could snatch him in the 3rd round.

Potential Sleepers:

Cliff Matthews (DE) South Carolina: Freakishly big could be a great 3-4 LB/DE
Andy Dalton (QB) TCU: All the guy does is win
Greg Jones (LB) Mich State: Not really a sleeper but the guy is a tackling machine.
Randall Cobb (WR) kentucky: Mr. All everything at Kentucky. Would love him on the Falcons. Can help in a lot of ways
