Friday Free For All Volume 8.0

Friday Free For All…..Volume 8.0
By: J Shannon
With some sad, sad, news, I hate to be the one to say this, but football season is almost over. I know it is rough, but if we stick together as a Bro Nameth family, we will find a way to get through the rest of the year. By the Way, if you haven’t ADDED BRO NAMETH SPORTS ON FACEBOOK, PLEASE GET BROTIVATED AND ADD ASAP!

----Top 3 “I think you should know” Stories from this Week:
1.       Keith Fitzhugh, You are def. a BRO in my book….

If you haven’t read anything about this story, it is one of the more heartfelt stories going on in sports right now. Keith Fitzhugh is an ex NFL player who lives and works here in the Atlanta area. He is a train conductor with the Norfolk Southern Railroad. Fitzhugh was offered a practice squad spot with the New York Jets, and an opportunity to possibly stay on the rest of the year. Fitzhugh declined, stating he cannot take a risk on his dream, because he has a guaranteed paycheck every two weeks now. He also said that his paycheck he currently gets not only pays his expenses, but also helps support his parents. The fact that the guy will put aside his own dreams to keep supporting his parents says a lot….

2.       College Basketball Saturday..….

There are a few big games this weekend, and I’m looking forward to nothing more than kicking back on the couch, starting a nice fire, and throwing back a couple of good ol fashioned American Brew Ha Ha’s. I have your entire Saturday already planned out for you, so kick back and enjoy….

(20) UNLV @ (24) Louisville – 12:00 Ricky P has put together yet another big time squad, and this will be the first test to see just how good the team really is…

(11) Pitt @ (11) Tennessee – 3:15 - This should be a great game…. I’m loving what Pitt has to offer this year….

Indiana @ (17) Kentucky – 5:15 - I know this game isn’t what it once was, but it’s still not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

3.       Down goes Urban, Down goes Urban…..

I’ll be honest; I’m not a big Urban Meyer fan. I think he is a little over the top, and seems to be a bit of an ass all the time. But I can’t really blame the guy for stepping down. Let’s face it, the pressure at a school like Florida is outrageous. The pressure of winning is often times tougher than when you are losing. Just look at last season for example, the Gators went 10-1, and Florida fans were disappointed. Add in the fact that both of his most recent Coordinators left to take over as head coaches at other schools. If you are a coach like Bob Stoops, Nick Saban, Les Miles, or Jim Tressel, why would you take the job? Yea it pays well, and you get some serious recruits from Florida, but is it worth all the pressure? I think not….Good luck to the next fool who heads that way…. BY THE WAY… MY GUESS FOR NEXT COACH…. MARK RICHT… YEA I SAID IT.
---Things that have pissed me off this week:
1.       D-Bag who doesn’t wait in line to get off ramp, but cuts in front of you instead….

Let me tell you something, there is nothing worse than waiting in line to get off the interstate, and some D-Bag cuts a car off way up in front of you. I love when a person tries to cut in front of me in line; I make it my goal try and be the biggest ass possible. I really like to ask the person if they would like to get in front of me, and then when they say yes, purposely block them from cutting in line. If you live in Atl, you know what I’m talking about.

2.       A Player who commits a foul then throws his arms up like “What I Do?”

I love when a guy commits an obvious penalty, such as pass interference, and then throws his arms up at the ref. after the flag is thrown. Chances are pretty good you know you committed a foul. Stop your bitching and complaining, man up, and play the next play.

---Youtube Clips of the week:
·         The first clip this week comes courtesy of JaVale McGee, who attempts to get his Jordan on…. Rule Number 1 when dunking from the free throw line: Make sure you actually can…

·         Not only is the best play of the year in my opinion, but this might be the best defensive play I have ever seen…..

---Shout-Outs for the Weekend
·         Cecil Newton- Way to at least be man enough to not attend the Heisman Trophy presentation. You’ve already tainted your son’s stellar college career, the least you can do is let him celebrate the biggest night of his life without you stealing the spotlight….

·         New York Knicks- You guys resemble an actual NBA basketball team. Lead by MVP candidate Amare Stoudemire, the Knicks are starting to look like the Knicks of old….

·         The White Man in the NFL Ain’t just the Kicker…. – Don’t look now, but the white football player is back, and I’m not talking about just playing O-Line.  Watching the Colts game last night, I was reminded that guys like Blair White, Danny Woodhead, Wes Welker, Jordan Shipley, Toby Gerhart Riley Cooper, and Peyton Hillis. Defense is just as nasty, with Tom Nelson, Jim Leonard, AJ Hawk, Clay Mathews, and Brian Cushing

·          Joe Johnson’s Elbow…. Joe has been out 6 games, and the Hawks are 5-1. Shocker. Hey Joe, make sure that thing heels well my friend, you may need to lay off of it a few months or so….

·         BG- I’m just going to say I am extremely tired today, and have you to thank. Hope the NY is fun, and I better be getting something bad ass when you get back.

·         Matt Watts- Appreciate your input on the blog, even though I purposely try and disagree with you just to piss you off….

·         The 30 for 30 Series- I actually haven’t seen one yet that isn’t good. Even when I feel like I’m not going to be interested, I still get hooked. Here are my top 5 you need to check out….

1.       THE U- The racial and cultural evolution of Miami during the 1980s as represented within the University of Miami football team.

2.       Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. the New York Knicks- The impact of Reggie Miller on the New York Knicks in the 1990s, specifically focusing on the 1995 NBA Playoffs and Miller's interaction with Knicks fan Spike Lee.

3.       Run Ricky Run-A profile of Ricky Williams focuses on his brief 2004 departure from the NFL, when he sought self-redemption amidst media criticism and fresh rumors of marijuana use.

4.       The Birth of Big Air- The life of Mat Hoffman and his 25 year career of advancing BMX riding, both creatively and promotionally.

5.       The Best that Never Was- The 1981 recruiting of high school football player Marcus Dupree by multiple big-time college programs, his resulting career, and how his recruitment changed the recruiting process

As always, it’s been a pleasure. Leave a comment if you disagree with anything I got to say, and I’ll prove to you why you are wrong….. Check in again Monday Suckazzzzz.

Picking Contest, Braves and Hawks Chatter, Skip Bayless really is dumb

After another dismal performance by myself I have to admit I am kind of glad that I don't really have to pick any college games this weekend! I am straight getting worked by pretty much everyone in the contest. We had some folks not submit some picks so I made an executive decision to give you all ZERO'S. However, since almost everyone didn't pick it actually made the contest extremely close. So step your game up and don't miss this week! **Bo I cant find your picks on facebook but I know you made them...**Here is where we stand:

The Atlanta Braves have quietly put together some nice moves this off season. Everyone knows about Dan "Yo momma is" Uggla, but they signed lefty George Sherrill yesterday to a 1 year contract. Now some of you fantasy owners might recognize Sherrill from his days with the Orioles and his consistent 25-30 saves with them. Sherrill is a very crafty, hard throwing lefty who has been with the Dodgers the last 2 years. His stats last year were NOT good. However, lefties only hit around .190 off him last year and I think this definitely bolsters our bullpen. Nice work Frank Wren. Now go get us some help in CF.

The Hawks have been playing some great ball over the last week or so including a very impressive win over the Orlando Magic in Orlando. It would be to easy to take shots at Joe Johnson since the Hawks look BETTER without him in the lineup. I have always been one to take shots so here we go. Joe Johnson is bad and ruins our offense. He isn't worth nearly what we are paying him and his stupid Iso offense is just that, stupid. Since he has gone down the Hawks are 5-1 and looking good doing so. Josh Smith has elevated his game as has Al Horford. I still wish the Hawks would have signed Raymond Felton and let Joe walk. Felton is having a great year in NewYork and who knows, maybe we could have convinced a big FA next year to come here. It is what it is and we are stuck with Joe and his indifferent attitude. I did want to give a big shout out to the Hawks as they have earned it. Keep up the good work while Joe is out because once he returns i for see a bunch of 5-19 nights from him like we have grown accustomed to.

Skip Bayless is really starting to push my buttons. The guy has the BIGGEST AGENDA against the Atlanta Falcons that I have ever seen. He said the Falcons were the 9th best team in the NFL. Are you on drugs? Just because the Falcons don't blow people out they are an average football team? Please. I honestly cannot understand how someone who consistently makes moronic comments continues to GET PAID by the four letter network. I would love to debate him and I am confident I would absolutely destroy him if given the chance. Its bad enough that ESPN favors the northeast and the Atlanta teams as a whole get no love but for him to sit there are continue to put the Falcons down when they have done nothing but win and beat some pretty damn good football teams is an embarrassment to sports talk. I'm sure he is only saying these things to push buttons and get people fired up but at some point it just makes you look stupid.

Betty White, 5 Hour Energy, Mike Tyson and new AWARDS

Here we are another week in and its that time again. Grab a snickers and pass it to these guys because they are playing like Betty White.

  1. Albert Haynesworth: I have had about all I can stand of hearing about this clown. You got paid 100 million dollars to play football! Your playing a SPORT for 100 MILLION DOLLARS! Get over yourself already. You should be doing whatever the hell they tell you to do and liking it. You get paid all that money and literally are just a big tool box.
  2. The Washington Nationals front office. You seriously just gave Jayson Werth 126 million over 7 years?? You need more than a Snickers because the entire Front Office should be fired for this. You have a guy who hits in an incredibly hitter friendly park in 1 of the best lineups in baseball. Now you move him to a not so hitter friendly park with the Nationals lineup. Good luck with that. For that kind of money he better hit .300+ and hit close to 40 HR's. WOW is all I have to say. Kudos to Scott Boras.
  3. The South Carolina Football Team. I was at the game this last Saturday against Auburn and let me say what an ass kicking that was. Not only did you just get drilled, but you made the Auburn defense and Ted Roof look good! I don't care what anyone says Ted Roof might be the worst defensive coordinator in football and he made South Carolina look terrible. Spurrier, step your game up bro. Garcia, stop being Jekyl and Hyde. Lattimore and Jeffrey, you both didn't have a good game but your still awesome. Stephon Gilmore, I will get to you later. I should write Steve Spurrier and tell him I want a refund after that performance. Much like the Oregon fan did last year when Oregon got thumped by Boise State.
  4. The NCAA. Its pretty amazing to me that when the NCAA has a vested interest in something it can make a decision very quickly. Did you know that the Reggie Bush case sat dormant for 18 months before they started investigating again? They made a ruling on Cam Newton in 2 days! 2 freaking days! Why do you think that is? Maybe its because they would rather get a sponge bath from Rosie O'Donnell before they would want TCU in the National Championship game. Once again its the Golden Rule in effect. The people with the gold make the rules. That's the way it is. This has EVERYTHING to do with Newton and Auburn playing Oregon in the National Championship game. What is so sad is that the NCAA admitted that a rule was broken, yet he is allowed to play. Seems logical.

The 5 Hour Energy award this week is a pretty simple choice. Stephon Gilmore from South Carolina wins this award and wins it easily. Gilmore gave up 268 passing yards ALONE, that's right 268 yards including a hail mary pass where Gilmore apparently thought it required him to actually say the Hail Mary while kneeling. Gilmore was worked like a rented goalie on more than 1 occasion but the double move Darvin Adams put on him was dirtier than Bill Clinton. He needed to pound at least a 6 pack of 5 Hour Energy because he definitely had that 2:30 feeling.

The Mike Tyson Award for biggest beat down goes to the NY football JETS. Not only is Rex Ryan a fat slob, he is also the cockiest dude I know who has not accomplished anything as a head coach. He took the 9-2 Jets into New England to face the 9-2 "Home of the Pats". The beat down that ensued was huge. The pats rolled out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter on their way to a 45-3 win. Dirty Sanchez was just that, dirty. He threw 3 picks and the JETS offense as a whole was pretty pathetic. The Patriots and "the hoodie" proved why they are still the team to beat in the AFC.

We got a New Award this week. The Dyson Vacuum Award. This award goes to the player/coach who "it sucks to be you" the most. That award is shared by 2 former colleagues in former Broncos Head Coach Josh McDaniel's and Broncos Owner Pat Bowlen. It sucks to be Josh McDaniel's because, well he was fired only a year and a half in. To say he is no longer viewed a young coach on the rise is an understatement. The Broncos started 6-0 last year before collapsing and they sit at 3-9 this year. He also drafted Tim Tebro in the first round. It sucks to be the Broncos owner because once he hires a new coach, he will be paying 3 head coaches all at the same time. He still owes Mike Shannahan money, he will owe Josh McDaniel's money for a few more years, and last but not least he will have to pay the new coach. Its not like he doesn't have the money but that's a Chili's Triple Dipper I wouldn't want.

That's it for this weeks awards. If you have any suggestions on awards or who should get an award please email us BNSports2010@gmail.com. Also, there is a link on the top right of the blog titled "Aquatic Rehab Pool" that you should click on and check out. It's a new rehab method that uses underwater treadmills. Its a pretty sweet idea and you should check it out. They are currently being used by multiple professional teams and colleges and the idea is rather cool.

Shout Out to all the Bro Nameth Supporters and all the regular loyal readers. We really appreciate it.

Numbers Game

Numbers Game
By: Barrett Elkins
For the next couple of posts of mine I am going to do something recommend to me by a colleague.  This colleague is not just a colleague, but a great former college soccer player from Bowling Green.  I use the word “former” because watching him walk around the office now (due to past soccer injuries) looks similar to my 95-year old grandmother.  Anyway, I am going to be breaking down the top 50 athletes to wear the numbers 1-50.  I will be writing me next piece on the numbers 11-20.  Please keep in mind that these are my opinions and some of the decisions were very tough, but came down to the players that I most enjoyed watching or hearing stories from family members who enjoyed watching them.
I would like to recommend a great book on the subject called, Right On The Numbers, by Nino Frostino.
No. 1. Ozzie Smith
It is very fitting that The Wizard of Ozz is the first on this list.  I was born in St. Louis and grew up idolizing Smith.  Smith was arguably the best defensive shortstop of all time.  He won an incredible 13 Gold Golves and played 15 All Star games.  While he played his first season in San Diego, he was known as one of the best Cardinals of all time and had his number retired a year after his retirement.  (I still have an Ozzie Smith rookie card in mint condition.  Make me an offer!)
No. 2 Derek Jeter
I chose Derek Jeter as the best No. 2 because he has done a couple of things that I truly admire.  He has played under the microscope of New York City his entire career AND has remained a true role model (This has the potential to make me look dumb if he does not work out his new contract this offseason).  He might not be the best defensive shortstop, or even close on the list of Yankees, but he brings so much maturity and leadership to a team that he is worth every penny of his absurd contract (Don’t get me started on Alex Rodriguez).
No. 3 Babe Ruth
The Sultan of Swat does not need much said about him.  All I am going to say about The Babe is that I lived with a guy from Boston one year, and I very thankful that Ruth was a Yankee.  While I will admit that Boston fans are some of the most loyal fans in the country, it is best for one’s mental health not be around one for a long period of time.
No. 4 Lou Gehrig
There are many stories about why Wally Pipp was benched as the Yankees first baseman.  The most popular story is that Pipp came to the game that day with a headache.  Rather than play through it, he told his manager to give the young Gehrig a chance.  Whatever the reason was, Gehrig went on to play 2130 straight games for the Yankees.  Wally Pipp was traded to the Reds a couple of years later, and the rest, as they say, is history.  I still consider his retirement speech as one of the greatest of all time.  His attitude is one that should be admired by any athlete in any sport.  “Today, I consider myself, one of the luckiest people on the face of the earth.”
No. 5 Joe DiMaggio
As much as I wanted to stay away from just one sport, and especially a single team, I cannot help but picking DiMaggio over any No. 5 of all time.  Anyone who knows any history of baseball knows his impact on the game.  As much as I don’t like his personal life, I cannot take away what he did on the field.  His hitting streak will never be beaten.
No. 6 Bill Russell
Now I know I was not old enough to ever see him play, but this is a player whose numbers speak for themselves.  11 championships in 13 seasons is going to be tough to beat…ever.  He had seven games of over 40 rebounds (that is not a typo).  He makes it impossible to stay away from Boston with my picks.  He is not just a part of those 11 championships; he is the reason for the Celtics early dominance.
No. 7 Mickey Mantle
This was a tough choice for me over Peter Maravich, but Mantle earned my choice.  His seven World Series rings might have sealed the deal.  Or, it could have been the fact that he had to fill some of the biggest shoes in baseball history (taking over in center field after DiMaggio left), and rewriting the history books.  He was truly one of the greatest players to ever play the game.
No. 8 Cal Ripken Jr.
This was the toughest choice yet, but Ripken Jr. gets my vote because he is the perfect athlete.  Not only was he great on the field, he was always on the field.  His streak of consecutive games played will never be close to being threatened.  He was truly a team player and a player from which all athletes can learn.  His attitude remained consistent through decades and his work ethic is still admired by all.
No. 9 Ted Williams
Ted Williams, even being a member of the Red Sox, earned this spot.  He is arguably the best pure hitter that baseball has ever seen.  He won the Triple Crown twice in his career and finished up with a career average over .300.  His career could be summed up by his final plate appearance which he sent flying over the wall for his 521st home run.
No. 10 Chipper Jones
I will admit that recently I have been down on Chipper.  Chipper gets the nod for two reasons.  First, this is a choice over his entire career, not his previous season.  Secondly, I did not find anyone with the number 10 that jumped out at me (please feel free to let me know how wrong I am).  Chipper has been a huge contributor to ONE team his entire career and has proven that he can both hit for average and for power.  The home runs he has accumulated over the seasons have come at times when he had no power on either side of him and pitchers could have easily pitched around him.

When I started this list, I wanted to stay away from just having one sport or team.  But after doing some research, I realized that there is a reason that baseball is considered America’s national past time.  Please feel free to show me where I am wrong.  I know picking Cal Ripken Jr. over Kobe might upset some people.  Anyway, 1-10 is complete, so I must leave you to start researching 11-20.  Have a great week!

Happy Crappy Monday Volume 8.0

Happy Crappy Monday ……Volume 8.0
By: J Shannon
Well, the college football regular season is in the books, and it was one hell of a weekend. As you can tell, this Happy Crappy morning has rolled over into Happy Crappy Afternoon, mainly because I slept a grand total of 3 hours the entire weekend. Epic is too small a word to describe the weekend, even with a beat down from Auburn. Anyway, here it is boys and girls….Happy Crappy Monday “Afternoon” Skeezers….
1.       Cam Newton Rolls through Atlanta….
Yes, I attended the SEC Championship this weekend. And yes, I was amazed to watch Cam Newton single handedly lay a beat down on the Gamecocks. I put together 5 checkpoints on Friday that The South Carolina Football team would have to do to win this Game. Let’s take a look at how the Gamecocks measured up to these points…..
ü  Alshon Jeffery has an enormous day. He lit up Auburn last game for 8 catches, 190 yards, and 2 touchdowns. He will need to do the same again.

…..Jeffery had nowhere near the day he had the first game against Auburn. Alshon ended the game with 4 receptions for 38 yards and a TD….

ü  They stick to the game plan. Even if Lattimore isn’t breaking off big chunks of yardage, you can not abandon the run game. You have to keep going to back to the run, in order to keep Jeffery free.

…. Lattimore was also held in check. He ended up with 18 carries for 84 yards.

ü  They force turnovers. The Defense has to play by far the best game of the season. I don’t think you can sit back and wait on Cam to make a move. I think Ellis Johnson has to dial up some confusing looks and blitz packages.

…. We def. dropped the ball on this one. I was extremely disappointed on not only the lack of effort on the defensive side of the ball, but the game plan in general that was put together by Ellis Johnson. Rarely, if ever, did you see a blitz dialed up to put some pressure on Cam. RUMOR has it Stephon Gilmore had to stand in the back of the isl on the back of the plane for the ride home, being that his ass was beat so bad by Cam he couldn’t sit in his seat… Stephon Gilmore thinks he should be playing on Sundays, but I feel like he wouldn’t start for a lot of Friday night High School teams these days. What happened to you bro? Step your game up, you should be ashamed that Cam made you his bitch with 268 yards passing on you ALONE….

ü  They play Turnover Free Football. Against Florida, I said USC could make 1 turnover or less. Well that was because Florida’s offense sucks worse than a Dyson Vacuum. Auburn’s Offense is nasty. USC CAN NOT TURN THE BALL OVER AT ALL.
.... Yea, well you know how this one goes. Garcia had two crucial picks, and the rest is history….

ü  The Ol Ball Coach returns to form. Spurrier has to put together the best game plan of his career. I think the fact that he has played this game numerous times is a huge advantage for South Carolina.

….. Overall, I was disappointed in all aspects of the Game Plan. The offense was lack luster. The defense didn’t have a remote chance of slowing down the Cam Newton Express. Being that this was the biggest game in the history of South Carolina Football, you just expected the team to come out with a little passion….. Overall grade….

2.       How About Them Dirty Birdz……

Ok, I’m man enough to admit when I was wrong, and when I said the hiring of Coach Mike Smith was a bad idea; I couldn’t have been more incorrect. The man flat out knows how to coach. I’m not sure what type of brotivation he is mixing in the Gatorade up in Flowery Branch, but he has the Falcons playing inspired football. Regardless of score, and how much time is left in the game, the Falcon’s find a way to make the right moves and take the lead. All three phases of the team have stepped up when needed, and this week was no exception. Late in the 4th quarter, when the Falcon’s needed a spark, Eric Weems decided the best way to put points on the board was to return a kickoff 102 yards for a touchdown….I’m excited to see how deep this team can go into the playoffs….

3.       Destroying the National Anthem….

I’m a big fan of the Eli Young band, but that last thing you want to do as a professional artist is to abuse the National Anthem. Make sure you know it before you kill it…. The Chiefs fans let this guy have it this weekend….

4.       Oregon vs. Auburn preview….

Now that the dust has settled, it’s time to say it… War Damn Eagle. I have to pull for the Tigers in the game, being that they are in the SEC. I think this game has potential to be an amazing shootout. The game opened up in Vegas yesterday with Oregon being a 4 point favorite, and already today it has moved to Auburn being favored by 5. I’m looking forward to seeing the ball go back and forth up and down the field. But most importantly, I cannot wait to see what Oregon is going to wear. The Nike Corporation is going to put together one hell of a uniform combination for this game.

5.       My FAVORITE South Carolina Player….

Here you go fellas, I found a new favorite player on the South Carolina football team….

6.       Drew Stanton, Never again Bro…

Drew Stanton, the Third string Quarterback for the Detroit Lions, got to the opportunity to start this week. After rushing for a Touchdown, Stanton did the worse think he can do… he attempted to “Dougie.” Look, I got no problem with a TD celebration, or the “Dougie,” but make sure you know how to do it first….

7.       Gamecock fan support in ATL…

I have to admit, I was proud of how the Gamecocks traveled this past weekend. It was nice to see so many Gamecocks traveled to the big city of ATL, and I think the Friday night show with Patrick Davis was a huge success….It goes a long way to show that the Chik-Fil-A bowl didn’t hesitate to invite the Gamecocks back to the same venue within 3  3 weeks of playing. Let’s see if we can travel again….

8.       My Christmas list….

My December Christmas list is complete, and it is really simple. Malin Ackerman. She first popped up on my radar in an Entourage episode. For you avid Entourage followers, she was the third member of the 3-some with Sloan and E. She also stars in the movie Watchmen…. Let me know if anyone needs my address….

9.       SUPPORT US ON FACEBOOK….

Enough Said…. Add us ASAP.

10.     The Top 10 in the Top 10

With College football coming to an end, and yes I am a little depressed, Here is the top 10 as I see it  for  COLLEGE ASSISTANT COACHES WHO MAY BE MAKING THE MOVE TO HEAD COACHES NEXT  SEASON.

1.       BRENT VENABLES- OKLAHOMA DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR – The guy has put together a top defense year after year. It is only a matter of time before he gets to step into the Big Shoes.

2.       TROOPER TAYLOR- AUBURN ASSISTANT HEAD COACH – Most people won’t know this name unless you are a Auburn fan. Trooper is the Tool Shed who can be seen waving his towel on the sideline of an Auburn Game. But Trooper is a hell of a recruiter, and insiders are saying it is his time to get a shot at the top position.

3.       BUD FOSTER- VIRGINIA TECH DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR- Bud has been the DC in Virginia Tech for like 90 years. He always puts together a good D. Although he wants to take over after Beamer leaves, It looks like Beamer is in it for the long haul. Bud will get his shot soon.

4.       GUS MALZAHN- OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR AUBURN- Just won the SEC Championship, laying 56 points in the game. Just won the Broyles award for the Number 1 assistant of the year. It is his time….

5.       KIRBY SMART- DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR ALABAMA – Time to get out of the shadow of Nick Saban…

6.       TYRONE NIX- ASSISTANT HEAD COACH OLE MISS- Nix needs to make the jump to head coach sooner rather than later, being that Ole Miss looked horrible this season. He needs to cash in the chips while he is hot….

7.       WILL MUSCHAMP- DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR TEXAS… Yea I know he is the Coach in waiting at Texas, but how long can he sit in that position before he gets antsy?

8.       DICK BUMPAS-DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR TCU- Dick has been a multiple finalist for the Broyles Award. Yea he coaches at TCU, but he has put together a Defense in an area of the country that has him competing for players with top schools like Oklahoma and Texas.

9 & 10. YOU DECIDE- Give me some feedback, and let me know which college assistant coach needs a new gig. Best answer gets a Bro Nameth T…..

Leave me your thoughts and comments on the facebook post…. See you all Friday morning Suckazzzzzz.
